Globally, it's about 2 %.
In America it's 6 %.
So far this year.
But box-office will soar in the summer when Spiderman 3, Shrek The Third, Harry Potter 5, and Pirates Of The Caribbean 3 are released.

According to the MIAA, attendance has been down this year.

Maybe 8%...........there are more hit movies this year so far....it's seem it might go up more, many much anticipated movies are being released this year......
