The heart beat was at 156. Is that almost to high???

The fetal heartbeat is normal so please don't worry. The normal range is 120 to 160 beats per minute.

early in pregnancy usually the heart beat is higher more rapid than say what it would be at 30weeks. your babys heartbeat is just fine all my babys have ranged from 138 to 165 in my pregnancys. so far i have had to girls and am 28 weeks pregnant with baby number 3 whos heartbeat is also in this range. i wonder if the high heart rate means girl? we will gind out.

no, thats not too high. the first time i heard the heart rate for mine, it was 180. being over 150, i would almost guess that its going to be a girl! the heart rate will slow down as ur pregnancy progresses. Good luck

My baby at 8 wks, and some odd days was 165 B/M and i was worried that that was hight, but i guess as the baby gets older then the heartbeat starts to regulate!

NO that is common, your obgyn would have told you if it was a concern... MY babies heart beat ranged from 160 to 180 and all are healthy....

A babies heart rate should be between 130 and 170. Your babies heart rate is perfect!

Usually the faster the better chance your having a girl!

Congratulations! I've known a few mom's who's babies heartbeats were that high. If they didn't indicate there was a problem then don't worry about it.
