I'm just curious as to people's opinions about Rosie O'Donnell. Are her recent rants a misguided attempt to regain some of the popularity she used to enjoy? Do you think she really believes what she is saying or is just trying to be provocative? Do you agree or disagree with the things she says?

If you don't have any specific answers to those questions, please just comment on how you view her opinions.

I think its great that the truth is being seen by the masses.Call ABC and let them know that you appreciate what Rosie is doing for America. Tell them not to cave into the character attacks. Dare them to have the courage to research the facts themselves and see that Rosie is speaking truth, that she is being a patriotic American.
Call (818) 460-7477 press 2, then 4, then 849.

Rosie is allowed to say whatever she wants ... it's called freedom of speech. It doesn't matter that she has become an on air propagandist for The Islamic Republic of Iran and the terrorists they sponser. She is free to lend her support to terrorists like Kalid Shak Mohhammed and acuse the US government of blowing up the world trade center. She is also free to express her uneducated opinion that the planes that crashed into the two tallest buildings in lower manhatted did not collapse and take our an entire city block including WTC 7. But I know different because I went there to support NYC tourism and saw the enormous hole myself. Yes Rosie can even sit by while innocent British sailors are held hostage and accuse them of knowingly invading Iranian waters to provoke a war with Iran. Why should it matter to her that Iran is threatening to put them on trial as spies. She still has free speech.

Yes Rosie can say whatever she wants.

But I am also free to turn off her show, The View.

I am also free to block ABC completely from my receiver and never watch it again.

Rosie O'Donnell will say anything to keep in the spotlight, the trouble is the spotlight has been overwhelmed by her largesse of inconsistent babbling and not to mention she is now large enough to be named as a planet. I heard when she went to a dance at the Le' Chic, that she was so huge everytime she danced the band skipped. Seriously, when she made that embarrassing rant to Tom Selleck years ago about how ALL guns should be taken from ALL Americans, yet not her bodyguards gun, I stopped listening to that supersized hog at that moment. She's a disgusting pile of cellulite in mine and millions of others' opinions.

Rosie has a penis and is really a man. That fat ugly face of hers has to shut up. As the words of Donald Trump, "she is ugly inside and out". The View is garbage and no one should pay attention to what is said on that show. None of them should be giving views about stuff they don't know anything about. Every since Rosie came on The View it's ratings suck and Barbara Walters is paying dearly for putting that fat ugly man on the show.

I disagree with most everything Rosie has to say especially about the way, President Bush, homosexuals, abortion, etc. I think she loves attention and gets it by saying things that ruffle the feathers of most people (conservatives anyway).
The other day on the view she was showing off a baby that plays on All My Children and then talked about her approval of abortions. She speaks out of both sides of her mouth.

The thing with a stupid person is that they actually think they are intelligent. They believe themselves to be so intelligent they cannot conceive of an intelligence greater than their own.

Unfortunately, intelligent people spot the stupid person almost immediately and dismiss them. The stupid person sees this refusal to debate an inane issue as themselves having won the debate and therefore exacerbate their delusion.

In short, it's the Rosie O'Donnell syndrome.

Rosie is essentially a very crude person without many social graces who shoots from the hip. This combination makes her what she is, controversial.

she is on the View to build up ad revenue. Her political comments are pure humor - I know she can do comedy but I see nothing in her education or work experience that makes her opinions worthy of more than a laugh

it is funny to see celebrities get into "battles" with each other, but you begin to wonder what is real and what is for publicity. Do we really know how many "conflicts" she has had, or were a lot of these things just done to keep her name in the news?
Personally, i think she is entertaining and fun to watch, but so is Simon Cowell....
