Attendances are low, the locals have been priced out of matches and the theme song for the World Cup, 'Game of Love and Unity' has somewhat missed the mark. What are your thoughts?

Yep, the ICC have played a huge role in wrecking this World Cup once and for all. I thought a World Cup in the Windies would showcase all that was good about cricket.
But instead the jokers at the ICC had other ideas. One look at the prices will tell you how poorly planned this was. And then there is the fact that fans are not allowed to bring any freakin thing into the stadium. What nonsense is this? Next thing we know, they will chastise us for talking in the stands while the game is going on. It's a sad state of affairs. I miss the good old days of cricket, when the game actually was a true celebration of sport..and nothing else.

I do not think there is any mismanagement from ICC. The poor attendance is mainly because of India's early ouster from the world cup as most attendence will be when India playing

1.wronge choice for tournament venue..
there is no frikin crowed...its not looking like a world cup..without shouting and joy..
i think west indians dont have a cricket spirit..
they should have tried east indians one more time..
2.they fixed all matches and couldnt keep it a secret.. well we all know now..

no, they have not mismanaged the world cup. i have this opinion mainly because i don't know what the hell cricket world cup is.. but i would like to thank you for the 2 pts.
