are you aware that unless you deny your permission, this "Act" gives recruiters the right to come to your high schools and recruit males and females for military service?

NCLB is a total joke. It's one of the main reasons I want to get another job and quit teaching. It says my school has to be 100% proficient by a certain year, and this is an impossibility. With all the illegal aliens and non English speakers and deadbeat, loser parents, that goal will never be accomplished. Who gets blamed? The teachers, of course. If you live in southern California and would like to offer me a job, please let me know. I have a BA and MA as well. George Bush and NCLB can kiss my a s s.

No, it has made it worse because all possible moneys are thrown at the kids who through disinterest, language barriers or disabilities CAN'T learn as quickly and need to take longer. That cuts funds for all of the other kids and their programs that actually CAN make a difference. I think what is reasonable in a program should be the ceiling for the non achievers. Those who CAN achieve should be given the tools to excell, if they can, as well.

We use the approved Bush method. Teach the test screw the rest.
It worked for Bush at Yale and it's working in schools all across America.
Why waste time learning useless stuff when all you need to know is the test.

Yes, however the best thing the government can do for education is to get out of it, it is the parents right, not the governments on where you send your child.
You want good education for your children, vote with your voucher, when all the crap schools go out of business and close, education will be much, much better.

I for one am sick and tired of revisionist, politically correct history and the indoctrination of our children by teachers and college professors, with and agenda that keeps our children Left behind and unable to compete in the real world.

NCLB is a liberal ideal and should have enver been promoted by President Bush - its what you get when you try to appease the left.

NCLB is a sneaky Hitler-like tactic of our government to take over complete and total reprogramming of a new generation. I am completely against NCLB.
