A couple of years ago. It was brutal. I had to go days without any of my things. I had to buy a week's worth of clothes because I didn't have any. It was horrible.

Never. I did a lot of traveling when I was under a 2-yr contract with the Government. All the airlines were very good to us and they never lost any of our cases or luggage.

My husband thought his was lost ... we were the last ones at baggage claim, and he went as far as approaching the authorities there and filling out a missing luggage form ... only to come back to find me holding up his luggage that had been there all along - he just didn't recognize it!

Look on his face = Priceless!

His honesty in not pursuing the claim = honest people still out there, or he feared getting caught!

Last August when I flew back to Fort Worth from Grand Cayman. My dad's retired from American so I've flown a lot. That was the first time I ever lost my luggage. I should say they misplaced it. I got it a few days later.

I really don't fly that often, but not one airline has yet to lose me luggage. But I wouldn't count on me luck holding because, if life were like that, I wouldn't need a Visa card.

I've never had my luggage lost - EVER.
And I've been all over the US, Thailand, Canada and Japan. I've never even had a piece of luggage damaged.

I've heard some bad ones, but when my (unfortunately now ex) was in Iraq, and I picked him up at LAX, they LOST HIS LUGGAGE!! WHAT A SLAP IN DA FACE! We were at the airport for HOURS. They said they would deliver it if they found it, and they did! The next day. What a homecoming eh?

Never. Thank Goodness.

But there was a time when I didn't lock my backpack and throughout the flight, I was so worried that they were gonna stuff some drugs into it and said that I brought into the country and end up as Schapell Corby.
