CANRON4PEACE: Thanks for name dropping…always looking for new inspiration. I read your past question on sharing knowledge and I too provide “longish” answers. A combination of epistemology and desire to be of service, I give the questioner all I’ve got.

On a second note, I read about this “immense pool” in the context of postmodern magick—essentially ‘Will’ at its finest. They discussed navigational grids…very interesting! Although a relatively recent discovery, I think you will find ‘mirror neurons’ of particular interest. Thanks!

God, or the first cause is the origin of all consciousness. It is essentially the background consciousness that makes all individual consciousness seem to exist.

All individual consciousness is simply an individuated aspect of the Divine consciousness, imagining themselves to be separate.

The collective unconscious is a collection or web of all the thoughts, feelings, sensations, ever experienced everywhere in all creation in all eternity. It is like a huge database.
We are receivers, transformers, and transmitters (P. Ouspensky) so as we learn to finetune our apparatus, or if we want to without any resistance, then we can access that source. Some people who do, get their minds blown, not that they want it otherwise, others live happy yet very busy lives, quietly as possible fishing in that immense pool. ie. Canadian artist Alma Rumball, poet William Blake, healer Edgar Cayce, who by the way referred to it as Akashic Records, motivational speaker Esther Hicks with her wonderful husband Jerry whose asking made it all possible, author Jane Roberts who inspired so many of us on our search, and many more. I embrace them all collectively and I feel ...........there is no word coming to describe it...maybe united, yes, that's it. Thanks.

I've heard that it is a set of beliefs or truths passed down genetically and spiritually from one generation to the next. Carl Jung, the famous psychiatrist, believed in this.

There is no collective consciousness. There is a collective unconsciousness that Carl Jung talked about.

It is those facts we may all know, therefor it is the one fact we may all agree on.

The Will is positive, the Judgment is negative.

Right now, it means nothing, we are all divided and competitive. Who knows what it could mean.
