The glacial region of southern Chile is pretty far out. You take a small ship through these narrow channels and the ice comes right down to sea level.

There's a bridge in Washington state that connects to an Island(Whidbey Island) it's called Deception Pass, it's one of the most beautiful places. The water there turns from a blue to a blue green. The whole area is just breath taking.

The Blue Ridge Mountains in the Fall. From atop the mountains you can see for miles, and the Fall colors are totally awesome. I've seen the Grand Canyon but the Blue Ridge is best by far.
