Violence is better for the movies and fake TV shows. when it's in real life it affects people more like Saturday I saw a kid cry and he pointed to the park as I went over he talked and said his father was being beat up. Cops came and it was just a dumb reason for violence.

I like cinematic violence.
Cars blowing up when you shoot the gas tank? Oh yea!
Crazy samurai ninja fight? Absolutely! Chick in leather pants, on a motorcycle, with an AK-47, outrunning a chick in a jet with the canopy open and a pistol? Need you even ask?
Now... realistic violence... even in movies. No thanks.
Saw? Nope.
Touristas. Nah. Even with the bikinis, I'll pass.
I'm not knocking those kind of movies, and I am for exposure and desensitization, to a point, but that's not your question.
Real, violence? I'll pass. I've had my exposure, thank you.
So, to answer your question, I like cinematic violence, but not realistic violence, and, in real life, I don't wish any actual hurtful, harmful, terrible things on anybody.

Well although violence is terrible, on TV I like it fake. It is sort of exciting when real violence is going on, unless you are in the violence, it's always exciting. But fake is better.

It depends:
Fake violent content sticks with an idea and pushes it to the bloody, gory edges. What I mean is, let's start talking about Nny, of JTHM. He sets up ironic torture devices for his victims. Anyone can vivisect someone, and then watch them scream in agony for death. But, fake violence pushes the sane and human way to kill beyond. Nny vivisects someone, and rips some copycat's stomach in half, and the copycat's still alive. But the writer pushes it further with Nny taking a sledgehammer to the open chest cavity. That's what I like about fake violence is that it pushes the bounds of sanity and humane violence.
Then again, in real violence, real people get hurt. It's very sad, yes it is. If it's your family member. Other than that, it's a topic. Real violence stems from the normal like rioting, shooting, rape, murder, and the killer or rapist or revolutionary is allowed to push the bounds to fantasy preportions. It's only cool till you're involved.
So, I'd go with fake. It pushes violence to its edges, and no one really gets hurt. Plus, it's cool to see the blood and gore.

I don't care for either. I think violence breeds violence. If you watch it on TV, I believe it has an influence on how you act in public. I've seen enough violence in real life. I certainly don't need to watch it on TV

Too much of both are on TV and in real life. If you see violence up close and personal, it's totally different than on TV. Kids don't need to look at that crap. Godloveya.

Violence on tv is boring.
I love Kick-boxing classes (they've been canceled) and the ability to move like I'm destroying something ... however, I am but a wimpy giraffe and would probably be in a corner crying if anyone as much as flicked my nose.
