I am so totally thrilled about moving. To the point it's hard to think about anything else. I got TWO hours of sleep last night thinking about it. I'm excited. I have 13 days until I move. I'm moving VERY close to where I live now, so I'm not having movers or anything like that. I have done alot of packing, and I just don't know what I SHOULD be doing at this point, or how to stop thinking about it long enough to sleep! I can't go another 13 nights without sleep. Please help!

One thing I would do is to make a written list of what all needs ot be done and then schedule the tasks. That way, if you think of something else that needs to be done, you can add it to the list and schedule it.

By doing this you will remove a lot of the anxiety of not knowing what needs to be done and when to do it.
That way too, is when the day's list is done, you can relax ecause you know it's taken care of and you don't have to do any more that night.. Good luck. My daughter is in the same boat as you. Your name's not Kathy is it? lol

Just calm yourself at night so you can sleep. You could try taking some over the counter Tylenol P.M. which has a low dose of sleep medicine in it that would help you fall asleep easier until your move is over. If you are packed and ready to go you can call the cable tv provider and who ever else you will be getting services through to set up accounts.

label and organizing things for each room helped me alot. i just finished a move where i was able to move stuff to the new house a little at a time and just had movers do the heavy furniture. yesterday was the last day of moving stuff and tonight my house is in order . it helped alot knowing what box was what.
good luck!!! just think in a couple of weeks you ll be in your new place chillin' i was very surpised that its alot faster unpacking than it was packing. dont worry people do it everyday and your stuff will get to the new place.
