I want to sue a parent for certain damages. What should I do about contacting a good attorney even though I do not have the funds to cover the legal fees for a good attorney? Do you think my parents will still like me if I sue them?

Are you serious? haha. How old are you? Your parents will most likely always love you.. but of course they'd be mad. I'd be mad if my child sued me, mad and dissapointed. Why would you want to sue your parents anyways? What damage could they possibly have done to make you want to sue them? As for the attorney.. some will let you make payments.. some you can find that you don't have to pay unless you win.

You usually don't pay the fee until the suit is settled. The attorney will take a percent of the cash you win. Call a lawyer, set up a meeting, and them explain to him your petition. A lawyer usually does not charge you for meeting them and filling out the court petition.

They will love you but might not like you.
There is usually no justifiable way to sue your parents.

I hope you are kidding. Most judges will throw such law suits out, depending on what it is. He may call you an ungrateful brat and you will have just waisted your money on an attorney who knew you would lose anyway.

Many children sue their parents. that way the parents' homeowner policy will pay the judgement.

Go for it, but beware of the potato salad at the next reunion!

Are you joking, Don't sue your own Parents. No I really don't think they will like and care about you afterword. This is your family, you should be able to settle problems with them instead of having to take it to court.

Ask your parents for some cash to get a lawyer to sue them. You rebellious asshole, you should be paying damages for what you did making your mom fat and then putting her through intense pain to give birth to you.

You might want to figure out how much they paid to raise you, (food, clothes, med care, etc) beause they could counter-sue.

They may still love you, but I doubt they'll like you very much.

I have no advice for seeking an attorney. Sorry.

You can't. If you are a minor, your parents/guardians have complete control over you.
