i typed Jehovah Witness into the search engine on this, and i have to say im kinda annoyed at the amount of negetive response to it. The people who blatently slandered many people's way of life, their beliefs, just because those people dont believe it, i mean, i understand that its not their belief and they r intitled to there opinion, but how can some people justify saying that ALL Jehovah witness' have a mental illness or they are part of cult etc of course some JW's might have mental problems, many people who are not JW's have them too, there are a huge number of factors that cud contribute to that due to not being perfect. There is no way they can just put all people of one belief onto that bracket, thats like saying ALL Europeons are white or something, its just so bad to characterize people u have never met. If your one of those people who say those things, how do you think that is acceptable, how would you feel if you heard people said it about ur beliefs? Just a Question.

People are afraid of what they don't understand. I'm sure you've been to an amusement park and seen the biggest rollercoaster right. If you were younger the idea of riding it or why anybody else would want to may have freaked you out.
But then once you get on the ride, you realize there is nothing to be afraid of and it was actally a lot of fun.
Religion is the same way. Unless you actually live a certain way of life there is no way you could understand it. Those who don't understand will always ridicule and judge.
Its not just JW's, all religions, political parties, and occupations even. I get it a lot being an Liberal, Christian Army wife, who believes America is the best choice for me an my family. You can imagine how much crap I get, lol.
Don't sweat it. Let others deal with their own problems.

It is true that Jehovah's Witnesses are not loved by everyone.
http://jw-media.org/newsroom/human_rights.htm
Some people hate Jehovah's Witnesses out of ignorance, or over some misunderstanding. A few may have had a bad personal experience with an individual who claimed to be a Jehovah's Witness, and prejudicially extended their animus to this entire Christian religion.
However, it seems that the majority of anti-Witness hatred is motivated by religious intolerance and bigotry. A few may even be motivated against their Christian worship by the unseen 'god of this system of things', Satan the Devil.
(2 Corinthians 4:4) the god of this system of things has blinded the minds of the unbelievers
Interestingly, such "hatred" should be expected by true Christians in this time of the end, and it actually helps identify Jehovah's Witnesses as Christ's true disciples:
(John 15:19) If you were part of the world, the world would be fond of what is its own. Now because you are no part of the world, but I have chosen you out of the world, on this account the world hates you.
(Luke 6:22) Happy are you whenever men hate you, and whenever they exclude you and reproach you and cast out your name as wicked for the sake of the Son of man.
(1 Peter 4:4) Because you do not continue running with them in this course to the same low sink of debauchery, they are puzzled and go on speaking abusively of you.
(2 Timothy 4:3-5) For there will be a period of time when they will not put up with the healthful teaching, but, in accord with their own desires, they will accumulate teachers for themselves to have their ears tickled; and they will turn their ears away from the truth, whereas they will be turned aside to false stories. You, though, keep your senses in all things, suffer evil, do the work of an evangelizer, fully accomplish your ministry.
It seems signficant that the relatively small religion of Jehovah's Witnesses are the ones best known for their worldwide preaching work. Yet Jesus commanded that ALL who would call themselves "Christian" perform this public work:
(Matthew 28:19,20) Go therefore and make disciples of people of all the nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and of the Son and of the holy spirit, teaching them to observe all the things I have commanded you. And, look! I am with you all the days until the conclusion of the system of things.

Anybody can put anything they want on a home-made web-site. It's nothing to get upset about. I'm sure from the Encyclopedia Britanica to the Wikipedia, all reputable sources will provide respectful accounts of your denomination. In popular culture it does have a reputation for eccentric beliefs, but that does not justify religious bigotry. Best wishes and God bless you.

Some people comment because they have a personal experience. Others comment because they have been told or taught something. I know nothing of Jehovah Wittness people. I have heard things, but do not know from personal experience. Now if you want to talk about MORMONS......THEY ARE A CULT....I used to be one- it is a rip off- founded on a rip off.

I agree with you. I have head the same thing about Mormons and even some about Catholics. What happened to believing in Christ's teaching as recorded in John to love one another. Even if you don't agree with someone's beliefs you should at least respect them.

I'm a Christian, people bash Christians all the time. Everyone has rights now a days EXCEPT the Christians. If you talk about another race, you're labeled a racist, if you talk about homosexuals, you're homophobic, but if you bash a Christian, it's considered freedom of speech.

I dont take it personally. Who cares what they think? It only matters if u believe it or not. Its like gossip. People can slander what they like, but if you take it personally, then it must be true. People suck. Deal.
