I think he made his first big mistake in 2000 by allowing the Supreme Court to stop the vote recount and appoint him against the will of the American people. A dangerous precedent was set. If it happened once it can happen again. IMHO a man of conscience would have rejected the appointment and insisted the vote recount be carried through.

After living through 10 presidents, I can tell you that President Bush is doing a phenomenal job during a difficult time in history. Like Reagan, he is bashed and degraded daily.
Time will show us what a great man he is and what a strong president he has become.

you sound very young by your answer! It is a huge responsibility to be President of a country and most people never want the job. I believe Mr. Bush is a good man who has made mistakes (haven't we all?) and is trying his best to deal with tough decisions. For you to say he has done nothing is most unfair and untrue.

I disagree with you. I have a hell of a lot of respect for the man. He is having to make hard decisions and he is sticking to his word and his convictions. If you want to complain about stuff not getting done, then talk to congress.
