How can re-apply the number on my SPORTS jersey?

the number on the back of my jersey are peeling off, what can i do to safely put them back on.

Double-sided iron-on sheets.

They'll come with instructions, but basically, you peel the backing off one side, and iron it on to the numbers. Then you can trim away the excess, peel the second backing off, and iron the numbers down to the shirt.
