This would mean that in 4 days anyone who does not have Direct TV would not be able to watch baseball on TV.
Baseball will not be available on Dish or any cable carrier. It will be available on the computer with a 4" viewer screen and an approximate cost of $100 a month.
Also in this agreement for the next 2 years Direct TV customers will experience a "slightly" higher bill to include baseball in their programming this increase will pay for the creation of a "baseball channel" that will "exclusively premier" on Direct TV but not until 2009.
If this deal goes through it will open the way for other providers to make similar deals. Imagine this: you watch CSI, House, Law and Order, Greys Anatomy, Dancing With the Stars and American Idol, these shows could be bargined into premium programs on any provider. It sounds farfetched but...all TV used to be free!!
