Does he like martial arts? You could sign him up for a month and see if he likes it.
Or tickets to a band he likes...
Have a big party with all of his friends...
Go to a really nice restaurant and splurge (if you can afford it)
If he's into gaming, you could get him one.
Plan a special night, just the two of you, that includes an hour long massage and homecooked dinner if your saving your pennies
Sometimes, I like a weekend to take off! Go to a hotel with restaurant services or with a pool. Get away from it all! Don't take a cell phone or anything like that.

No, but I am in the same spot - my man turns 30 in August...I want to get him some sky diving passes for him and his best friend cause they really want to do that...but otherwise I don't know.

something exciting and romantic, a moonlight ride on a boat, and then a foot massage after ooohhhh and the most important thing, chocolate icecream...and lots of it!
