well it all depends on what size motor you have if you have a four cylnder flowmaster is not good for you flowmaster is a v 8 exaust but for small motors borla is good it gives a deep sound that your looking for but if you have a 4 cylnder you will have trouble getting rid of it cause you just cant change the sound of crap to much unless you change the motor parts to give it performance not to talk bad about your car or anything but if you have a v6 you can use any open pipe muffler and performace exaust and get the sound your looking for hope this helps sincerly josh

Sorry buddy but your not going to get that true deep sound with the car you've got. I have a turbo 4 cylinder and I tried Flowmaster first, ditched it because it doesn't work well with forced induction motors. Then I bought a Magnaflow, had the local muffler shop hook up a 3 inch exhaust from the engine back with a high flow cat converter. When I started it up for the first time I was expecting that "rolling thunder" sound like you hear on all the commercials but NO! I didn't get that, instead I got a nice purring sound. The only time I really hear anything is when I put my foot in it. You really need to have a V-8 to get that sound your looking for. Go to the Magnaflow website and you should be able to hear what your car will sound like.

Build a car with some balls, you can't buy them anymore unless you want to spend some big bucks. I have less than $10,000 in my Sunbird.
My import hunter/killer:
1980 Pontiac Sunbird
475 Hp 350 SBC
Manual Valvebody TH350 ( Arthritic knees, can't clutch )
Addco Swaybars
Poly bushings
5 lug conversion
225/50-15 Dunlops
8 point rollcage
Dual radiators
Real engines don't need NO2

no small displacement high performance engine will ever sound deep and rich. Sorry mate. You might get a decent sound if you custom welded a Borla exhaust in or maybe a Magnaflow, however.

well good luck getting that out of a v6. also it is a jap car and the engine is not set up to get that deep sound you want. if i were you i would sell it and get a true muscle car that way you can get all of the deep sound you want. if you want to stick with a newer car i suggest a mustang and get a v8 this time.

Well, for one, good luck finding something like that... But if you do a custom exhaust, can probably get away with Flowmaster, or similar ones like it.
