12 + 4y= -32
-32-12=-44
-44 / 4= -11 so y= -11
2+x over 4 = 2 so 2 = 8 over 4 so 2+6 over 4 = 2 so x=6

This isn't too hard, but you might do with taking better notes:
12+4y=-32
Remember, what you do on one side will happen to both.
Use reverse order of operations: SADMEP.
First subtract 12 from both sides to get rid of it.
12-12=0
-32-12=-44
Therefore: 4y=-44
Divide by four to get one y left.
4y/4=y
-44/4=-11
Therefore: y=-11
2+x/4=2
Subtract first:
2-2=0
Therefore: x/4=0
Then multiply, to get rid of the divide.
X*4=x
0*4=0
Therefore: x=0
Reverse order of operations:
subtract > add > divide > multiply > exponent > parentheses
Use the opposite for anything but equations and inequalities.
I hope this helps, and that soon you'll be able to do it instead of asking on Y!A.

Multiply 12 by -32 then subtract 4 from y by adding it to the product of 12 divided by -32, then add the reciprocal of -32 to Y to get the answer

12+4y=-32
12-12+4y=-32-12
4y=-44
4y/4=-44/4
y=-11
2+x/4=2
Multiply the whole equation by 4
8+x=8
8-8+x=8-8
x=0

does it look like this?
2 + (x/4) = 2
2-2 + (x/4) = 2-2
(x/4) = 0
(x/4)*4 = 0 *4
x = 0
