You remind me of my fourth-grade teacher. She used to beat me with math books and lock me in a closet until I finished eating all the dirty erasers. She laughed and laughed. But then, some years later, I found her. And the laughter stopped.
I remember she had a puzzled expression just like that one, as she breathed her last...
