Yes and No.

yes:We are already commited, the US dismantled the existing infrastructure, the army, police force etc...now we need to finish the job....I also think that once commited, we should have sent more troops to get the job done. to the tune of 250,000 FROM THE BEGINNING.

It is tying our forces up as it draws terrorist fighters in as well...the question is, who is going to last? We must equip and train Iraqi forces such that they can readily fight and defeat these fighters on a regular basis. Finance the new govt such that we can pull out and allow them to be autonomous.

No: This war wasn't necessary to begin with, Our Admin had a weak case for war and the resources should have been spent on AFGH.

The Admin feared that Saddam was going to get the UN Embargo lifted, and with huge oil contracts for China, France and Germany on the horizon, they (Admin) felt compelled to strike first. Where are the WMDs? Where are the Bio Weaps? Where?

We shouldn't have gone there in the first place. Even George W. Bush knows that, though he's not admitting it. But if we leave it now we will only leave it worse and more dangerous than when it was under Saddam Hussein's rule. It would either be taken over by a facist Sunni or Shi'ite, who would probably quickly slaughter and/or punish the opposing sect due to all the anger built up in the past 4 years. Then, the leader will turn towards America to base his anger. Or, Iran will take over Iraq, which is possibly the better of the two because it means that Iraq will be in relative peace.

No. I don't think the U.S. should be in Iraq, at least not this long.... The reason for my belief goes far beyond whether I like or dislike Bush, I feel that that is Holy land and will ALWAYS be Holy land, and it WILL NOT and CANNOT be defeated(PLEASE REFER TO THE BIBLE) whether the U.S. sends more people there, it is NOT going to change the fact more people have died there than needed. Iraq will ALWAYS practise the religion and beliefs that have been going over there far beyonds the U.S invasions, personally I feel if the tables were turned, Iraq would NOT be able to change the way of the U.S. culture. But again when you have a PIG-HEADED person in charge of the country itself, it just goes without saying,"I wonder how such so called-smart people could elect to have such a dumb man in power" again, there were NEVER any weapons of mass destruction found, unless of course you count the mass destruction that resides in the white house.--SAD :( Now what's even worse is that Iran will be the Next country the U.S. has an issue with, even worse.. but as you see U.S. need not deal with anyone with Nuclear bombs, the outcome will be devastating.

NO, I am in the United states Navy, and I think that we need to get our boys and girls home. Half of these people have never been in a gunfight much less overseas, its hard sometimes when you have to pull the trigger when there is a old person or a chold on your sights, and when hesitation strikes you so does a bullet or a explosion. People always talk about how many people we have lost that is true, but there are so many more victims in the US being those fallen friends and families and they have to live with that the rest of their lives so Bring Em Home and let Bush go in there and see what he really can do.

No because the war in Iraq is unjustified and has NO reason to fight except oil and fear. Saddam was no threat to the United States.
