I've had many friends & family go & return from Iraq fine mentally & physically. I have several who have been several times others who volunteered to stay longer or return before they were suppose to because they believe in their comrades, their jobs & there duty in protecting the US not to mention following orders. A quote from The movie Blackhawk down sums it up best.

When I get home people 'll ask me, "Hey Hoot, why do you do it man? Why? You some war junkie?" You know what I'll say? I won't say a (GD) word. Why? They won't understand. They won't understand why we do it. They won't understand that it's about the men next to you, and that's it. That's all it is.

"Y'know what I think? Don't really matter what I think. Once that first bullet goes past your head, politics and all that s*** just goes right out the window.

Only the people who have been to Iraq or Afganstan & spent more then a few hours there & seen more then the greenzone will understand let alone know the whole picture of what it's like there. You cant support the soldiers if you dont understand & support what they do. Holding up funding attaching $75 million dollars for peanut growers & then threatening to hold all money if the president vetos it is not supporting the troops. YOu cant support them if you dont believe in what their doing let alone dieing for or that all there effort has been lost..

I agree that is a nice video but, my uncle was killed in Iraq due
to a car bomb.
