An alien took them and is now making master copies. When he is done he will return them to you leaving them in the front door making it look like that is where you left them. Once you get them back you will have to check all rooms especially the closets as aliens like dark places to hide, you will also want to check the closet you keep your pillows and blankets as he might have took some and went into a closet to try and make a alien made looking space ship, also check the kitchen and make sure all your tin foil is there, aliens love this stuff to make clothes out of, also check your freezer for any missing ice cream. I hope this will be a lesson to you not to loose your keys as aliens are very hard to evict from your home.
