Can one use an SD card, and is it as good as a Flash Drive, to add additional memory to a laptop with Vista Premium. Also, what has been your experience when using this method to boost memory? What is the best SD card or Flash Drive for this purpose?

ReadyBoost uses flash drives to cache hard drive files that are frequently used, it will usually speed up access to information on the hard drive, but does NOT increase the amount of storage space on the hard drive. ReadyBoost should work with SD cards. Better quality SD cards used with better quality SD card readers should work just as well as better quality USB drives. Performance varies widely based on the quality of the flash drive, the amount of space used on the flash drive, and the way the hard drive is used. It is more useful for games and office productivity, but not very useful for people who use a lot of different large files like images and video.
