you can still get dizzy spells throughout your pregnancy. when you first feel dizzy, you should immediately sit down, and if you still feel dizzy put your head down as far as you can (like trying to put your head between your legs). what can happen, is that the baby can lay on the main artery running down the right side of your body and can slow down the blood flow. it's not dangerous, but don't ignore the dizzy spells either.

another thing that can happen...when you eat only cereal your blood sugar level can drop making you feel dizzy and like you have the shakes. it usually happens to me about an hour or two after eating cereals, breads(like bagels) for breakfast. when this happens you should drink a glass of orange juice, or eat something like peanuts or raisins. this raises your sugar level back up a little faster.

but, eat small meals spaced out throughout the day to avoid either of the problems as much as possible.
take care, and congratulations!!!

Ask your doctor, but in the meantime, take really good care of yourself. There are many reasons for feeling dizzy, often associated with food (diabetes or hypoglycemia, for instance).
It is possible to have gestational diabetes while pregnant, you should ask your doctor about that.
I don't think anything is catching up on you, but you can't take any chances on anything being wrong.
Take care and good luck.

I am 30 weeks and in about my 24th week I got a few dizzy spells.
I just started getting them again. It's normal -just pressure from the growing baby on all of your nerves and stress on your body.

ive gotten dizzy spells throughout my entire pregnancy. the doctor said to make sure you stay hydrated and to relax when it happens. theres not really much you can do to prevent it.
