With the NBA playoffs 3 weeks away and the spurs seems to be stable at no. 3 while the Lakers got a god grip at no. 7, Who do you think will advance most likely?

The Los Angeles Lakers almost topped the Phoenix Suns last year, can they do it again this year and surprise the powerhouse Spurs?

I would say the Lakers.

On their last win against the King, Kobe scored only 19, but he got everyone involved by dishing out 13 assist.

That will make the difference!

Lakers in 6 if Kobe scores more than 30 pts a game and 8 or more assists per game. Also, Lamar, Luke, Brown, Smush, and the bench have to contribute in order for the Lakers to win. If they Lakers don't do this, Spurs in 4, 5, or 6. Of course, I don't want the Lakers to face the Spurs. I want them to face the Suns, but it looks lik the Suns are pretty much locked in to the 2nd seed.

If the lakers can play some defense, and get another player to step up other than Kobe and Lamar Odom, the lakers will take the series. But i think kobe will have to average 40 pts and 6 assist a night, as for Lamar he will have to flirt with a triple double 15 pts, 15 rebounds, and 5 assist.

If Kobe Bryant can play as facilitator and the amazing he is, it is quite possible The Lakers could stun the Spurs. Kobe Bryant just has to know when to involve his teammates and when to takeover the game with his brilliance. I think if Kobe Bryant and the Lakers can be the Spurs, every other team in the Western confernce will not know what to expect next from them. It is a very young team, but if Kobe Bryant plays the game as individual with what he is gifted with anything is possible.

I think it depends on if San Antonio decides to play defense. If they can't shut down Kobe, and he is scoring 30 or 40 points a night the Lakers win. But I think San Antonio has a very good chance to make the NBA Championship game.

Ok I just answered your last dumb question (Phoenix v. Denver) but this is a better one. The whole Spurs team has depth and more experience. One man teams usually dont work well in the playoffs. San Antonio over LA

Without a doubt in my mind That the Spurs, The Mavs and the Suns all trounce who ever they play. maybe between the 3 of them they will lose a total of 2 games.
