Are you sure that you mean 'meters'? That's a small ship! (21m is the limit, I believe, above which in the UK vessels should be registered!!)

If she is in good condition, then I would recommend the publication "Boats and Planes For Sale". They have a 'sister' publication for smaller, lower priced vessels which is very good. I believe it is called "Boats For Sale Under £20,000". (Get them in WHSmith, or good chandlers).

Brokers are usually a fairly swift bet for anything that is worth buying - not so good for 'projects' though, and they will want at least 7 or 8% of the sale price - even if you sell her privately.

Classic Boat or Wooden Boat are good starts.......and getting yacht brokers involved wouldn't hurt.......if she is a known design.....like a Fife...you have a boat worth a LOT of money, be it dollars, pounds or euros.....as there is a small but fanatical rebuilding of classic yacht industry in both America and Europe,....

if you're in Europe, try these guys as a start: http://www.fairlierestorations.com/

in America, ask at : www.iyrs.org/

You could place an ad in an appropriate magazine, like "Classic Boat" or "Wooden Boat". An alternative would be to sell the yacht online...Ebay,etc. It sounds like a really great boat! I sail on a friend's yacht built in 1913...there's just nothing to beat boats of this period!!

Get in touch with a local yacht broker. The boat may be a highly prized collectible and you would not know it if you sold it by yourself. They will do an appraisal of the value and give you some recommendations on how you should proceed.

Try listing on www.boats.com or http://www.apolloduck.co.uk

Both are good and occasionally offer boats going to the 1800's. I am an old boat fanatic and would love to know more about yours. I hope you post the listing.

Good Luck
