now that stern and steph miller have been taken off the air, all i hear is right wing radio, rush, prager, bennett, etc.
it seems to these guys that EVERY issue is about liberals at it's core.
i don't see how this can ever be conceived as anything positive.

a few added details.

progressive radio is not bankrupt.

rush does not deal in facts, i was listening today - rush was ranting on about a study that had some conclusions about bullying in the workplace. the study stated that there seemed to be a lot of it - that was all. but to rush, that was enough to make this a rant about liberals (who even rush never actually said were even involved in this study). yes, said rush, it's just another way that the bad ole liberals want to control you. and on and on and on, liberal this and liberal that - when in fact the story had NOTHING whatever to do about liberals.
as a middle of the road guy who leans left on policy and right on fiscal, i have never felt more alienated by the republicans - who i actively supported in 200 (john mccain).
if the right wingers want to drive me and the millions like me away from them altogether, keep letting guys like rush speak for you...

The fact that Republicans allow these people to be their spokesmen says a lot. That they have nothing more to discuss than their hatred of liberals gives you an idea of why so many of today's policies are so disastrous. Instead of thinking about issues, they'd rather spend all of their time hate hate hating anybody that doesn't 100% agree that they were right and that reality was somehow wrong.

Prager is big on society and life, Medved is big on pop culture - both focus on how our political/social beliefs have an effect. Conservative v Liberal. Prager especially focuses on living a purpose driven life and being happy.
I don't much like Rush - his delivery doesn't wow me.
I like Glenn Beck and Laura Ingraham. Past that I listen to hosts that are local to DFW.

Also take into account that liberal talk radio went bankrupt and conservative talk radio is doing very well. Talk radio is more engaging than TV or newspapers that just spoon feed "facts" Takes more intellect to engage in talk radio

Not at all. If he were bad for Republicans then the left wouldn't be so interested in reinstituting the so-called "fairness" doctrine in an attempt to wipe out these conservative voices.

Do you actually listen? Rush is so misunderstood by casual listeners. He provides facts that the main stream media ignores. Don't believe him? Then, see for yourself by going to the Internet and check things out. I have, and time after time he is right on target. Same thing for conservative-leaning WLS ABC radio here in Chicago. I am much more informed than my friends who limit themselves to NPR (which I also listen to).

well, isn't that the whole point of listening to a political radio station? Listening to people discuss politics? Or are you too insulted that you can only see beyond making republicans look bad? What about all of your liberal left wing radio stations? Or what about abc news?

If it's anti-liberal, the message has to be positive. That's just a fact of nature.

If Repubs were more like Artic (above) they would be more sensible.

Instead, the neo-filtration has subverted their roots.

It would be safe to say that it does more harm for the Republicans than good.
