ban smoking ads,but they dont ban alcohol ads,they are both addictive,does anyone else agree.

hi lynda, it is typical of the english government. they do away with things that upset people, while the people who are upset by the the things people do are over shadowed by the things that people do .if you get my meaning

more health problems are caused by smoking, although a lot of people drink most are in moderation, I myself can take or leave a drink, but I think if I smoked, I would be addictive to smoking, most people find it very hard to give up smoking, but can easily give up alcohol, so I believe smoking is more additive than alcohol, also smoking causes health problems to non smokers (passive smoking) whereas alcohol doesn't.

You are right Lynda...But the problem with smoking is that, when you smoke and when people are around you, they are exposed to the smoke which is, passive smoking and which is as dangerous as smoking by urself...That's why smoking is banned in public places and is considered to be more important than alcohol

I definitely agree. Alcohol can cause as much damage as smoking does.
