I notice on the "People" pulldown they have everyone seperated by race... is this really how they view America now? We're no longer a melting pot of "Americans" but instead are American tribes seperated by our skin color or ethnical background? Americans don't vote for their legislation based on race, we all vote together... so why should the issues listed here be seperated by race when they effect all of us?

If they are here legally then it's an issue shared by everyone here in American, not just Americans of hispanic descent.
If they are here illegally, they do not have the right to vote, it seems a waste of time for the Dems to pander for their vote...

Omigosh. Thanks for pointing that out. Just another classic example of their hypocrisy.

The Republican party website has the same thing... Oooops! I'm sure it's OK now, right?
Maybe it's just a way to see what's being done in the community with issues specific to that group of people. There were also groups for disabled, retirees, women, students, people with small businesses, etc. For example, being a woman and a student, I can see where democrats stand on woman's rights, or if any thing's being done to lower college tuition, etc. It's not at all segregation... People are different and there are some causes that are perhaps more important to a person over another (i.e. immigration, affirmative action, a woman's right to choose, social security, etc.)
Sounds like you were just looking around on there to find something to complain about so you could have yourself a nice little hissy-fit...

Why aren't you tired of party politics by now?
Vote your brain, common sense, heart, or wallet, and let the chips fall.
Why do you care who panders to what group?
It's all B.S. anyway (the campaign rethoric that is)...

Because each race has it's own issues. Like Hispanics have immigration, African Americans have affirmative action.

Repeating your questions JOHN BOY? I just answered your OTHER one about democrat website.
Typical rightie -lack of originality or thought. Maybe that's why your party will be buried under the DEMOCRATIC LANDSLIDE in 2008.

Well, we don't want to "offend" any of those races, so instead we just keep them seperate, But of course, if you don't include them in your group, your being racist.
My point: they're all contradictory liars.
