because of licencing agreements...they can put someone to his liking maybe but not actually him...it was the same thing that happend when Jerry West asked to be removed from some NBA street game..I think it was NBA: The Life...where the person playing not only played games but bought cars, houses, and had women and all sort of things like that...

Jordan Video Games

Michael Jordan is not on any of the Legends Teams in NBA 2K7 or NBA Live game series because he wants too much money to have his likeness appear in the games. Magic, Larry, Dominique and so on have given the ok to use their likeness for legends teams. MJ however is yelling "pay me" as f he isn't rich enough already. You'd think that he would do it for the fans, but that's not the kind of person he is.

I'm not sure what year it was...I want to say 1991 or 92. Jordan legally stripped the NBA from using his "likeness" on any NBA licensed merchandise. Any product licensed by the NBA cannot used his facial features, his name even his "Air Jordan" nickname all of that became his own brand by Nike.

Coincidentally, other players like Barkley, Drexler & Patrick Ewing followed suit but later gave that right back to the league.

I am a huge Jordan fan, but to me from a fan's standpoint the worst mistake he ever made 2nd to retiring.

Well he's in NBA Street Vol. 1 and Vol. 2. (maybe Vol. 3). I remember it was a huge deal when Vol. 1 came out cuz before that he hadn't been in a game for awhile.

there was a dispute and he wanted to get paid. the developers refused and were forced to remove him from their video games. the last video game that featurd him was NBA live 04.

idk but i was wondering the same thing.
like in the street games (V3) there are unlockable playas but no MJ or Hakeem Olajuwon or Pat Ewing. same in the historical teams for nba live.
