Well, the list of foods keep on expanding.
So far, mainly wet foods have the recall but i have seen a few dry foods on the list so to answer your question: BOTH.
Also, Purina brands, Dad's brands, and blue seal brand has not been recalled (from what I've seen.)
Here is a link to the list of foods that has been recalled:
Dog foods -

Cat foods -

I hope this helps!

Wet foods mostly, but I thought I read about a dry food being recalled too.
I don't remember seeing Purina Brands, Dad's Brand, or Blue Seal on the recall list.
Good luck!

Also if you have a Whole Foods Market in your area, you can buy your pet food there. They've assured that their food has not been affected.
From their website...
Product Recall
On March 16, 2007 a North American pet food recall was issued by Menu Foods for cat and dog food manufactured in the "cuts and gravy" format between December 3, 2006 and March 6, 2007. The 365 Everyday Value and Whole Paws Cat and Dog Foods are not affected by this recall. We have also confirmed with our vendors that all the pet food we carry is not affected as well. For more information, please go to the Food and Drug Administration Web site.

The only DRY food currently on recall, is Hill's Science Diet Prescription M/D Felines.
Here's an updated list of recalled pet food items (which now includes 1 dry food **Science Diet Prescription M/D Feline**, and a couple treats **Pounce Meaty Morsels, amongst others**):

both. and all menu foods are on recall. but people are worried about people foods as well because the wheat that was contaminated could have been made into bread or anything like that. not just dog and cat foods.
