I've noticed a lot of really terrible songs listed up there. I believe this should serve as a decent compilation for a break up or just because you like them. Enjoy.

Love Hurts - Nazareth.
Dear Tragedy - Bayside
I'm Gonna Miss Her - Brad Paisley
I Will Survive - Gloria Gaynor (ladies) or Cake (guys)
Screaming Infidelities - Dashboard Confessional
A Letter to Elise - The Cure
Cute without the 'E'; New American Classic - Taking Back Sunday
How's It Gonna Be - Third Eye Blind
I Write Sins not Tragedies - Panic! At the Disco
Don't Look Back in Anger - Oasis
Billy's Got His Beer Goggles On - Neal McCoy
Move ***** - Ludacris feat. Mystikal
Mr. Brightside - The Killers
99 Problems - Jay-Z

Want something older? I mean, REALLY older? Do you know "The Way We Were" by Barbra Streisand?

Anybody who's been through the pain of a breakup will relate to the emotion in that song.

"The Ubiquitous Mr. Lovegrove" by Dead Can Dance. It's a very dark sounding song, but it's amazing. DCD sounds like a mix of old school goth rock and world music.
