what are you charged with if you have drugs on you too . My friends tryin to get me to help get himout of jail but i think its b.s wouldnt you get charged pretty crucial for possesion of drugs and a firearm.

The charge would be Unlawful Carrying a Weapon with the crime being a Class A misdemeanor. As for the drugs, it all depends on what type of drugs, and how much there were.
A Class A misdemeanor is punishable by a fine up to $4,000 and a jail term not to exceed 1 year.

Depends. If the gun was registered to him, possession of a concealed weapon is allowed in certain sections of Texas. As for the drugs it depends on how much. If it was enough they could book him with intent to sell. If your worried about the bail then I say forget him. Otherwise your not obligated or respopnsible for him if you get him out. Personally I would say that you don;t have the money.
