Have you actually sat down and listened to this babbling idiot? He talks just of the sake of talking. He stresses a point in such detail that often he loses track of what he is saying. He doesn't know the players that well and always over kills every situation that comes up. Why does ESPN keep this guy? He does a terrible job..........period! Your thoughts, please!!

To David D - I don't hate the Giants or the fans. It's that cheater SOB Bonds that I can't stomach. Some of you think there are certain degrees of cheating and that makes it okay. You don't seem to get it....cheating is cheating is cheating. There is no justification for it.

He sucks. He is an egomaniac. His partner is not much better (it is Busch, not Shea idiot). He still thinks he is the best second baseman ever - forget it. Sandburg was.
He is hard on the ears. I for one think he fits in well with ESPN, since I hate that channel.

I steer clear of ESPN, I watch YES Network and the announcers there suit me just fine when I am looking for news concerning the Greatest team in all of sport. However, I will say that Michael Kay must have been mentored by Morgan for he babbles too, incessantly, without a coherent thought what so ever.

he is an acquired taste...but if u learn to sit "dead red" and "put a charge into" the 'slidepiece" the pitcher throws he is great lol. He can beat certain topics to death, but u just have 2 laugh it off and dont get 2 frustrated. He does have some good to offer the game but not all the time. I personally find him best when taken in low amounts...an inning with sound then an inning on mute lol.

This goes along the same lines as why does ESPN keep Bill Walton. They are both bumbling idiots and will never be replaced. Mute button works great when either of these guys are doing a game.

The ESPN guys, as a rule, are horrible. However, I'd still take Morgan over Joe Buck...talk about wildly overrated.

All I can say is that he's better than Tim McCarver. Joe Buck has the same problem as Skip Caray...a broadcasting legend father to live up to.

I like him, HOFer, funny, and him and miller do a good job. My question is why does Joe Buck still have a job doing baseball or football, that dude is worthless.

He just may be.
But ESPN would say he's a Hall Of Famer.
