My hubby and me are going to Melbourne Australia end of May. I dont know the weather there at that time. Some says bring warm clothes and some says its not so cold at that time cause its not winter yet and dont have to bring warm clothes. We are going touring all over Melbourne. So what should we bring and wear at that time?

The average maximum temperature in May is 16.7°C, in June it is 14°. The mean minimums are 8.6° and 6.9° respectively. The highest amd lowest maxumums ever recorded in May are 28.7° and 8.3°. One day in seven you can expect a maximum above 20° but also a day below 13°. The lowest minimum ever recorded is -1.1°

Each month gets about 50mm of rain and it rains one day in two although you only get a millimetre or more one day in three.

Melbourne is cool to mild in May, occasionally cold and occasionally warm. Take a coat, some sweaters and an umbrella. Melbourne is a great city for walking so take comfortable walking shoes.

You need to bring layers and a light jacket. Depending on where you are going the tempature can change drasically throughout the day. There is more specific information on the weather in Melbourne in a free e-book at www.Letsgotoaustralia.com to help plan your clothing and trip. Have a great time here!

Not positive, but that's the beginning of winter there. If you're not sure, pack layers.
