Hi
A 2 month old with a cold can be concerning. You want to make sure it does not go in to her ears and if she gets a fever over 100.4 you must take her to the doctors. I would anyway even without a temp because she is so little.
coughing, it is not abnormal to cough at night with colds. When you are less active and lying down the cough gets worse. Especially in the morning also when all the mucus from the night has lodged in to the chest is produces more coughing. It is good though that she is not coughing throughout the day.
I would still have her checked based on her age, and when babies have chest or nose congestion it usually goes in to the ears! You must also worry about pneumonia for a little one because they are not active enough to keep the mucus moving in the body so it stays in the chest. The formula only helps keep it going longer too!
Call your doctor and don't give her anything over the counter except tylenol for fever. She is to little for the over the counter meds too!

It's the croup. See a doc to be sure.
