i had the weirdest of all days. it was like a dream where u cant get home. I actually thought i was going to die because for some reason there was NO way for me to get home. Everything was going wrong- i thought God was trying to stop me from getting home because it was my time to die. And actually thought i entered some kind of parallell universe where everything was weird.
Could this have anything to do with the moon? (probably not - but im real superstitious)
And what does a red moon symbolise?

Its basically an optical illusion. We all know that the moon is not red. its a confict of our system at the end of our colour spectrum. Its the same as "Why do we have a red sky at the end of the day"... We dont, it just looks that way.

Well, a red moon means that there is some sort of pollutant or dust or something in the air. Odd color moons happen after volcanoes and big fires and things like that.
What does it symbolize? Well, that is not science. That is about as far from science as you can get. What you might be wanting is astrology. That is not even close to be considered a science, but it deals with how astral events affect people's lives. Of course there is no evidence to back any of it up, which why it is not a science.

sometimes when the moon is rising and still low in the atmosphere it may be that the light reflected on it from the sun is scattered/absorbed in the several layers of air (thicker than when the moon is at upmost level of its trajectory on the sky) so it appears red (a bit like the sun at sunset). This, in case it's not a moon eclipse. when it is also red, but darker.
The tales about red moon use it also as a sign for vampires and werewolfs to go through their transformations. Nevertheless... maybe not the case here :)

Its red here too, and the moons been around for millions of years, i dont think it means anyone any malice, its beautiful, enjoy it for what it is.
