Ben Hollioake [RIP] died in a car crash but he was such a great player. I know if he was arround now he would have been in th team. The combination of him and Andrew Flintoff and the current team setup would have meant England would dominate Cricket internationally. Do you agree?

Yes a great loss both to English cricket and New Zealand. One of the best newcomer all rounders in the English game in the late 90`s and a very attack minded batsman.A great loss at such an early age.

It was 5 years ago that he died and England lost a cricketer with true potential. Ben did well when he did wear an England shirt, particulary in ODI's and I'm sure he would have been a permanent member of the England set up.

Yeah, Adam & Ben - And yes Ben was the better player. To be honest, with the state of the English team at present i'm not sure he'd have been able to make much of a difference but a sad loss nonetheless!!!

Can't agree with you there......Kevin Pietersen is a much better and him and Flintoff are in the side now and I don't see us dominating International Cricket at any point in the near future.....do you?

your absolutely correct...

god rest his soul, he was a splendid person and a gear player as was his brother adam. If he was alive today he would have been Englands captain.

With his all round talent he would have boosted the team.

Ben and Andrew would be a great partnership like others have been

i.e gough and caddick, waqaw and wasim, ambrose and walsh.

but this would be the first time it would have been an all round pair. Unbeateable!

I think Adam's running the London Marathon in his memory this year.
He was a great talent taken in such tragic circumstances.

Yep, a top lad who was on the verge of true greatness when he tragically died. A great loss to both Surrey and England.
