Yes, the culture is too violent.

Violent images, music, etc triggers the release of adrenaline, and people get addicted to it. Unfortunately, the addiction starts in childhood now.

One possibility (just a guess) is that the open violence of the movies, television, video games, etc., serves as an outlet for violent desires that would otherwise be perpetrated on other people? That's what I wish were true anyway. The alternative is that these cultural depicitons of violence encourage violent behaviors and ways of thinking.

watch bowling for Columbine and you are going to get some answers to your question. America is a violent culture, I don't agree with you though about not been the mos strong or skilled, some skills we must have if we made it to the top of the food chain. Anyways, watch the movies, it has a really good theory of why Americans are violent.

Americans have been violent since Day One. It's nothing new.

I don't agree with it. Some Americans get on my nerves while there are some intelligent ones who don't.

I guess it is their media really making all the trouble. A lot of American men think it's cool to be violent.

Yeah I agree.
America has proven to be the most violent country in the world. That was proved by the scientists in the US itself.
Like in the movies.
When you're watching a war movie and when someone gets killed, you can hear a lot of laughing especially from young kids.

I can understand your upset over this, however just live your life and try to be happy as much as possible on a daily basis because the sh!t is not going to change. It's too late for that now. This is light stuff you're looking at honey! It's about to get a whole lot more uglier and I'm not writing just about the movies and the music. I'm writing about real life stuff. You know it and I know it. So just stay positive, surround yourself with as many good things as you possibly can because life as we know it is going to get real serious! Always keep your eyes on the weather report. I'm not being negative. I'm just keeping it real!

We adopted a policy in my house of not watching violent movies, or other forms of worldly entertainment. So I'm part of the solution.

Some days I feel like being part of the problem would be a hell of a lot more fun!!! LMAO!

Violence in games and movies is much safer than violence in the streets, like in the mideast where bombs go off daily killing people by the dozen.
