well i know this is soo stupid .. i have no clue what i was thinking.. i went on START then MY COMPUTER. and i started deleting some folders on LOCAL DISK (C:).. like some of limewire things and folders that were empty.. and now.. i can't use internet explorer .. i have to go to the recycle bin and open msn from there.. . but this message keeps on popping up saying... i" internet explorer has encountered a problem with an add-on and needs to close.. and then a bunch of other things.. .. i know you don't have to help me out here.. but i would love some advice on what to do to fix my problem..thanx..

simple really
go back into the bin highlite as many of the folders as you can remember deleting then click file at the top of the window and select restore this should put them back

if it fails try a system restore (start -accories- tools-system restore. this should put eveerything back for you

First, I am assuming you have the shortcut for MSN in your recycle bin? If so, Just drag it back to the desktop and it should just run from there.

Open your control panel and click on add/remove programs. Scroll down to Microsoft Internet Explorer. Double click on it and select repair. Windows will attempt to repair Internet Explorer.

If that does not work, you will have to go to the microsoft website and download the newest version of explorer and install that one.

believe it or not u r not the first one to have this to happen to you it happend to me the other day. all i had to do was go to the recycle bin and then right click the item when you do that there will be a box appear and the first word that comes up will be restore hit that then it will put it on your desktop again it worked with me and i hope it will work for you!

Try going to your Control Panel (from the Start menu) then go to Advanced and under Browsing you will find a checkmark for Enable Third-party Extensions and Unclick it then Apply then try again and see if that doesn't fix your problem.
