i've got this sharp pain, more like cramping in my abdominal and its not like my usuel period pains. its the first time i get this sharp pain. my period is due 5th april and i had my dr put me on fertomid 50mg and this was the second time using it.
can someone please tell me what this pain may be?

These could be pre-menstrual cramps, implantation cramping (early pregnancy symptom) or it could just be some kind of gastrointestinal problem (gas, constipation or even a bug).

I experience that kind of pain a day or two before my period. The pain is so horrible I cannt move for about 45 min. I learned to take 3 Tylenol pills right in the beginning to control it a little. It all started after I removed my IUD 'cause we want a second baby. MY doc said I have a very low estrogen and put me on Birth control Pills to regulate the period and get rid of the pain. I did do an ultrasound to make sure there is nothing wrong there, because of this shooting pain. Suggest you insist of having one as well. Good Luck to us.
