HOUSE # 1:
A 20-room mansion (not including 8 bathrooms) heated by natural gas. Add on a pool (and a pool house) and a separate guest house all heated by gas. In ONE MONTH ALONE this mansion consumes more energy than the average American household in an ENTIRE YEAR. The average bill for electricity and natural gas runs over $2,400.00 per month. In natural gas alone (which last time we checked was a fossil fuel), this property consumes more than 20 times the national average for an American home. This house is not in a northern or Midwestern "snow belt," either. It's in the South.
HOUSE # 2:
Designed by an architecture professor at a leading national university, this house incorporates every "green" feature current home construction can provide. The house contains only 4,000 square feet (4 bedrooms) and is nestled on arid high prairie in the American southwest. A central closet in the house holds geothermal heat pumps drawing ground water through pipes sunk 300 feet into the ground. The water (usually 67 degrees F.) heats the house in winter and cools it in summer. The system uses no fossil fuels such as oil or natural gas, and it consumes 25% of the electricity required for a conventional
heating/cooling system. Rainwater from the roof is collected and funneled into a 25,000 gallon underground cistern. Wastewater from showers, sinks and toilets goes into underground purifying tanks and then into the cistern. The collected water then irrigates the land surrounding the house. Flowers and shrubs native to the area blend the property into the surrounding rural landscape.
HOUSE # 1 (20 room energy guzzling mansion) is outside of Nashville, Tennessee. It is the abode of that renowned environmentalist (and filmmaker) Al Gore.
HOUSE # 2 (model eco-friendly house) is on a ranch near Crawford , Texas . Also known as "the Texas White House," it is the private residence of the President of the United States , George W. Bush.

If you're a true environmentalist, you'll live in an eco-friendly house. Therefore according to the facts you have provided, Al Gore is definitely not an environmentalist. Since Al Gore is definitely not an environmentalist, that only leaves George W. Bush. Process of elimination.

Neither. Gore has been campaigning with videos, even came on here, for possibly conencting with the populus on an issue which scientists warned about over 30 years ago. There are many factors which are making this planet less suitable for human life.
Wasting some electricity is far from the problem, but I still agree it is an issue easilier solved by turning lights off and better practice of electricity management . There have been no measures so far in correcting this problem other than showing the public we can create hybrid cars and recycle some plastic.
What about the natural plant life ? Some may think that...." Aw heck, we got enough for eternity" Not when plants are dying, no less the deforestation without replantation, and more are added to the animal/plant extinction list. I think Gore is just putting up some window dressing for another Presidential Campaign.

Very cool. Also, GW Bush signed into law the largest marine sanctuary on the planet.
BTW, Al Gore says his offsets are due to "carbon credits". These come in the form of investments in his own carbon credit company that has produced nothing, but he stands to make millions on, if it was supported by the Democratic faithful.
Hmmm. Can you say X-Files.....the truth is out there. Too bad most are to programmed to ignore it via hate and mis-information.

Gore is a hypocrite, no question, but Bush domestic policies have done more harm to the environment than any president ever. He's done away with coal plant regulations, he's taken away protected wildlife areas, tried repeated for drilling rights in national parks and refuge areas, and list could go on and on.

In spite of Mike O's incredibly stupid statement, the answer is President Bush. What makes it even better is that he's not been capitalizing on it. He just quietly, and without fanfare, did the right thing. Fat Albert, on the other hand, preaches one thing and does another, but then he's a lib and that's what they do.

oh and AL gore's house uses more natural gas than the 200 room hotel I work at. really environmentally friendly he is....
But see your not going to get the far left to change their view on him. I asked how could people herald him as a hero when he does not even support his own message. their response? it's the message not the messenger.
so that means I could serve them the best steak money can buy, put the finest side dishes and pour the best wine, and basically serve it on the underside of a dirty trashcan lid and a used dog food bowl and they would think it was OK...
Ahh well I never credit the far left with reason, thought intelligence or compassion.

Gosh Mike-O can't you read?
Well, I see what you are saying and I agree.
I consider "environmentalist" to be "communist without portfolio".
Where did you think the comunist/socialist all went when the Berlin wall fell...Siberia?
Heehee...yah, that's where they went.

Hmmm maybe if Bush really did have a concern for the environment he would allot more of that billions of dollars to environmental causes rather than a freaking war that is going no where....
