I like the name but I wonder if she will be teased?

My friend and i were just talking about names for her baby and one of them was Faye. The name Fe (as in Santa Fe) means Faith, she wants to go with a christian name. I would absolutely go with the spelling Faye rather than Fe. I think it is beautiful for either a first or middle name. Congratulations and God Bless.

Pronounced Fay right? I like the name is pretty, I don't think she'll be teased, the only name that rhymes with that is gay, but thats immaturity to be teased over, I really think Faye is a pretty name.

Reminds me of Faye Dunaway. Cute I think, especially for a middle name.

I'm not crazy about it- I think of Tammy Faye Bakker- the evangelist's wife with gooky eye makeup.

i think it sounds a bit old and "musty" I wouldnt choose that name, it also reminds me of Tammy Faye that doesnt have the best connection. How about Faith? Thats pretty close and much cuter.

Think of the beauties Dunaway and Wray (Faye).

Unfortunately kids these days are cruel, no matter what a childs name may be, so i would not base your decision around that. If you are so worried though I would stay away from it then. Good Luck!

As a middle name, maybe, but not as a first name.

It sounds too old, maybe if that is what you really want to use you could use it as a middle name.
