I was wondering between USA and Japan, which country's medical standard and skill is better averagely.

Both countries have excellent medical training and care. I would feel comfortable with a close friend or family member getting care in either location.

It depends upon what kind of medical care you need. Japan is better for childbirth. Their infant death rate is much lower than the U.S. However, for a heart attack or cancer, I think the U.S. would be better.
