My husband and I are too, The best way to see when you are ovulating is to take your temp every morning and chart it. You will normally ovulate on the 14th day after your period. Women are different though, I ovulate on my 12th day and some do earlier and some later.
My doc said I am putting way too much work in trying but I can't help it, I am a control freak and I have to know the second a test will be positive.
Go to this website, put in your 1st day of your last menstrual period and it will tell you when you are fertile.
www.fertilityfriend.com
Its a great site and teaches you ways to know when you are fertile. You only have a tiny window of time when you can conceive (12-24 Hrs) sometimes way less. This site teaches you how to tell when you are fertile.

The best time to conceive would be after you are married. That way baby will be born into a stable and committed relationship.
Most fertile days are just before and during ovulation. You can tell by the cervical mucus that comes out like discharge. It's usually runny and opque or clear and stretchy. You might also feel "wet" throughout the day.

After you have finished school, established a good career, saved some money, and most importantly, gotten MARRIED. If you are not sure enough about each other to commit for a lifetime, then you are not ready to start a family. Babies need and deserve a stable home life with married parents.
You will likely be fertile until your early 40s, so there is no rush to have kids. Kids make relationships harder not easier.

go to www.mymonthycycle.com and they can help you find the days you are most likely to get pregnant. Also, you could talk to a doctor.

You can monitor your temperature and cervical fluid as well as mentural cycle to help you determine when you're ovulating. I use http://www.fertilityfriend.com and it has some great charts to use! Good luck!
