Bubbles you have been batteling this ich for a few days.

Pull the carbon out. At this point there is no other way to rid your tank of ich. Adding other additives like salt will in some cases work against your meds and does nothing for the fish anyway. Pleco's don't like salt so don't add it.

Allow your meds to work without the filter.

It will take a few days.

If you need additional help feel free to email me.

if your pleco is the only one that has ich take it out before the other fish get and then treat the pleco in another tank then treat the water in the other tank and yes just remove the whole filter pad if you cant remove the carbon

Take out the carbon fliter. replace w/ some white filter media. it looks like gause and your local fish store should have it. When your done medicating replace w/ your 50/50 filter pad.

Just leave the whole pad out or cut open one pad and dump out the carbon then use a new pad after the treatment.
