The sooner you start it, the faster you're done! =)

It actually depends on the quality of the essay, the topic, and its purpose. A 6-page research paper for your English final takes a lot longer than a 6-page reflection on your stretching program for gym class! As a general rule, I'd go with about an hour a page (single-spaced) for a moderately difficult essay, not including editing.

Happy writing... now get started!

normally each page consists of 18 lines.if u have the essay ready or assuming u will not take time to think on the contents, you can complete one singe line in approx.10seconds. so in one minute u can make 6 lines atleast.so for 18 lines it comes to 3 minutes. taking wastage of time on many account, say 5 -6minutes should be appropriate for one page . so a six page essay should well be finished within the timeline of 35-45 minutes. in case of exams with time constraint , this should be 15-21 minutes.

Depends if you like the subject that your writting on. It also depends on if you have notes for the essay. It can range from 30 min a page to and hour a page. It also depends on how fast you type or write.

Me? 60 minutes. But I probably would not score very high.

Number of pages is irrelevant. What you know about the subject and how long you take in getting additional information is what takes time.

If you have the info, writing is almost easy.

It depends on what you're writing on: how much info there is, or if you're interested in the subject.

Mine took me all weekend, but then, I barely worked on it all weekend. If I had just decided to sit down and get it over with rather than procrastinating, I expect that it would have taken me less than a day.

It really depends on how well you know your subject and how dedicated you are to getting it done.

If you don't care about content it could be done in a couple of hours but if you want to present a well thought out paper then allow yourself a week.
