Someone out there shares my pain! I knew I should have told my boyfriend "no" when he asked if he could pay that $50 for Xbox Live! But he would've gotten it anyway so there was really no stopping him. The soundtrack to our apartment is now Halo 2. And for some God-forsaken reason he has to turn it up as loud as it will go so when I'm trying to watch TV in the bedroom I can't hear anything but "bang! Bang! Click! Aw, man! Bang! You jerk, you got me! Betrayal! Gained the lead! Lost the lead! Wait! I'm reloading!" instead of the program I'm trying to watch. The sad part is, when playing on Xbox Live, you can't pause the game. Noooo, you have to wait the 12 or 15 minutes it takes to play that game or else leave it! One of these days, I'm going to have some kind of an emergency and he's going to tell me to wait eight minutes and thirty one seconds before anything is done. I HATE THAT THING!
