Yes, I get that feeling many times. In fact, I ran away once. It's not a good idea, because sooner or later, your problems will catch up to you. I returned home to have my parents still yelling at me, and they called the police and reported me a runaway. Luckily, I did not go to juvie. I didn't even really runaway too. I was kicked out, and I stayed in my small town. The silly thing is, I was kicked out becuse I got a D in a progress report and my parents thought I was lowly because of that.
Well, I realized while I pondered on thoughts of running away that physically hiding from your problems is foolish and only makes them bigger. It's best just to deal with them and get it over with. I guess pressure is a major factor, not only in escaping your problems, but in many aspects. The pressure to look good, the pressure to be smart, the pressure to be popular. people always strive for perfection. What people don't realize is, there is no absolute perfection. All we can do is try our best and hope we are excepted and understood. If this does not happen, we keep our chin up in our world's jungle society.

I think the feeling of wanting to just run away is very common. Afterall, isn't that what vacations are for, lol.

Laughter aside, I do believe we all experience the desire just to get away from our lives at times, likely because we feel stressed and overwhelmed and unable to cope. In most cases things resolve themselves fairly quickly and the feeling goes away.

In truth the "relocation cure" or running away does not resolve problems, it only creates more. We cannot help but take at least some with us and undoubtedly more are created by our running.

People who feel like "running away" constantly probably need some help dealing with difficulties in their life. Likely a short-term therapy would be more beneficial than running away.

There is a Bruce Springsteen song (please don't ask who he is) It has a line in it that goes, " I took a wrong turn and I just keep going." I think it's called Hungry Heart.
I have a very streesful job and often I take time where I just go away from everyone and everything and rest, I write, read sleep and eat. These breaks may vary from 1 day to two weeks they are great way to recharge.
Take your problems one at a time and the most urgent first.

Sure, we all feel like running away from our lives at some point. The problem is that wherever you go, there you are and your troubles will usually go with you. Better to face your circumstances and try to make them better and more manageable.
