for dating outside your race, but you really like the guy/girl you're with...almost to the point of loving them...would you give him/her up for your parents?

I dont think that parents should give their children that kind of choice.....Your heart cant help who you fall in love with or what race they are.I would let them "disown" you....Parents are not supposed to act that way!:)

If I felt my parents were in the wrong, I would do as my heart desires. If my parents disowned me for following what I believe to be right, so be it. I would not let anyone stand in the way of what I believe to be right.

some people are very closed minded but i would hope that that as long as your bf/gf treated you right that they would accept them and be a part of your happiness

my father threatened me with that crap too, but he changed his tune when he got 2 granddaughters that were one quarter mexican.
